Julie

Julie Ratinoff, MA, LPC, ATR-P

Program Manager

Julie has Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University and in Teaching and Early Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Anthropology from University of Colorado-Boulder. Julie’s draws on a holistic approach for mental wellness using art therapy, trauma informed yoga and other creative modalities to support clients on their healing journey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, creating art, writing and travel.

Justin Hoss, MA, LPCC

Clinical Support.

Justin has a Master’s Degree of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Northern Colorado, a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services. He has always gravitated towards creative interventions because he values creativity and self-expression in his work. The Boulder Strong Resource Center is a place where he can honor his values and exercise his passions for supporting others and creating music. His hobbies include hanging out with his cat, playing guitar, attending concerts, and hiking around the beautiful state we live in.

Ben has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Westminster College and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Northern Colorado. Ben uses Existential Theory to help the community heal. Ben likes sports and is #BoulderStrong’s Athletic Coordinator.

Case Manager

Donaven has a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado Denver. During his journey into radical self-acceptance and wellness, he found his passion for serving folks struggling with a mental health challenge. He is currently earning his Master's Degree in Social Work from Walden University with a concentration in Trauma. His advocacy focuses on antiracism practices, LGBTQIA+ issues, and mental health stigma reduction. Donaven loves his cats, writing music and singing, traveling, and meditating in the crisp, Colorado air.

Rivkah Bacharach

Massage Therapist

Rivkah was the first employee of #BoulderStrong. As a Boulder resident with a passion for helping others heal, she knew she had to help right away. Rivkah provides trauma-informed massages as she knows trauma is stored in the body. She knows the human body is capable of deep healing and transformation. Rivkah enjoys writing and hiking with her magical dog, Banana.

Ellie Wilkins, MA

AcuDetox

Ellie Wilkins has a wealth of experience and exposure in the somatic world of healing trauma. She is #BoulderStrong’s AcuDetox Specialist, a N.A.D.A. acupuncture protocol of five needles in each ear. She also has a Master’s in Counseling with a Somatic Emphasis and an interest in neuroscience. Her focus is delivering this wisdom through compassion, grounding, and always returning to the breath.

Nick was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Nick enjoys giving back to his community through acupuncture. He is NADA Certified and is very knowledgeable in the history of AcuDetox. Please ask him any questions you may have. Nick spends his free time hiking and snowboarding around Colorado.

Anne has a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado – Boulder and is currently pursuing her MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Colorado – Denver. As a resident of Boulder for nearly 10 years, Anne is passionate about giving back and serving her community. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing guitar, hanging out with her cat Nox, playing video games, and spending time in nature.

Front Desk/Community Outreach

Elizabeth joined #BoulderStrong as a long time Boulder resident looking to support her community during this challenging time. Elizabeth aims to make every guest feel comfortable immediately upon walking through our front door. She has a BA in Psychology from Boston University and has years of experience volunteering for non-profit organizations. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, swimming laps, gardening and laying in her hammock to meditate.
